A detailed diary of Kaplan's life in Warsaw from the beginning of the war to 4 August 1942, after the beginning of the transports to Treblinka, where Kaplan is believed to have been killed. This portion of his diary was smuggled out of the ghetto before its destruction and later given to Professor Ber Mark.
