twelfth benediction (Birkhat ha-Minim)

The most discussed benediction of the eighteen benedictions has probably been the twelfth which has been examined over centuries by many works on Jewish prayer. The speculation surrounding it has been enormous and many theories about its origin have been formulated. Claims have also been made that it contributed toward the break between the Church and the Synagogue.
