Confronting genocide: The depiction of the persecution of the Jews and the Holocaust in West German history textbooks

Based on West German history textbooks on the persecution of the Jews and the Holocaust,this study examines German relationship to the Nazi regime,the treatment of anti-semitism,German participation in the persecution of the Jews and the handling of the issue of German responsibility.
