BeskrivningInvitation and ticket to the Tenth Australian Jewish Interstate Sports Carnival, 26 December 1935 - 4 January 1936, in Sydney, hosted by the Maccabean Sports Association and endorsed by its President, Cecil M Goldstein. This small, yellow, cardboard card, labelled as a concession pass on one side, admits the holder to all events and contests during the carnival. This Jewish Sports Carnival saw the men's and women's Maccabean (NSW) teams vs the Associated Judean Athletic Clubs "AJAX" (VIC) teams and the West Australian Zionist Athletic Club in cricket, gymnastics, tennis, athletics, swimming, basketball and debate. There were also dances, a service at the Great Synagogue, a harbour picnic and moonlight excursion, a new years eve party, and an inspection of the Fire Brigade Headquarters.
