In 2006 a team was formed to analyse, interpret and collate the most important sources relating to the names of those imprisoned in the Mauthausen camp complex. The redesigned exhibition was opened to the public in May 2013. The objective of this memorial is to compile as complete a list as possible of the names of those who died in the Mauthausen concentration camp complex
