Microcosm: collaboration and resistance during the Holocaust in the Mir Rayon of Belarus, 1941-1944

Studies the case of Mir, a small town in Belarus with a proportionately large pre-war Jewish popultion, and a famous Yeshiva. Neighbours not only killed Jews, but they also killed many non-Jews suspected of aiding the partisans.
