Holocaust as a test of philosophy

The authors demonstrate the ways in which the Holocaust is a major challenge to the foundations of our civilization, and at the same time a test of philosophy's ability to meet and explore that challenge, by constructing a conceptual framework within which the meanings of the Holocaust can begin to be unraveled.
