ОписаниеThis is a tax clearance certificate issued to Fritz Israel Albera for the purposes of immigration. It is one of many bureaucratic hoops that Fritz would have had to jump through to be able to migrate. Note that the name Israel has been inserted into the document.
With worsening condition in Czechoslovakia it was decided that Bedrich should leave to find a new home and bring his family later. Fritz was attempting to get to Palestine to join his brother but was caught by the British and interned in Mauritius for 4 years. He was released when he was given the opportunity to join the South African Army. He was later decommissioned to Palestine.
