Yesterday I wrote an airmail letter to you from Ben’s father and he waits your personal letters.
Today we received a letter from you and as in the previous letters it doesn’t give us any news if you are working. To Ben’s parents arrived a letter from him and Ben is writing that you are working at Goldberg’s and that you earn some money but we wonder when you are working who is looking after Romeczek and that poor innocent baby also has to suffer. But that time will quickly pass and you will be in a good situation. Father sent a letter this week to you. He would not let any of us read what he wrote. You know dad he complains all the time why did we allow you to emigrate.
Dear Ben, you are writing to Mania about her leaving that she should get papers from Hajes (a Jewish organisation) there you have to pay 80 zloty. Ben, Mania doesn’t want to leave at all. She doesn’t have any intention of leaving only Heniek wants to. But after all your letters he got cold feet and that not all, the parents would not under any circumstances let them go as they have enough worries about you in Australia.
I’m writing to you all on Mama’s behalf as the season is in full swing and she is very busy. I enclose a photo of our father he asked me to send to you. Today finished the last day of Passover and we are going back to our daily routine. Cesiu you wrote that you are going to English classes and that it cost you quite a bit. Are you gaining from it now? After a full days work and the terrible heat you must be very tired and particularly when you don’t earn anything. Cesiu if you knew what regrets we have all of us that we allowed you to go and work so hard and not to have the right work.
That’s why we pray that you might be well off and we think of you all the time and not forgetting you for one minute and you being so far away, our only happiness is your letters despite knowing there is no change there with you. And don’t forget to write every week as we are doing, even if we don’t get news from you. Be well and think well, love from parents and from all of us to you
