Goldstein, dated 6 June 1969, introducing John Einfeld and his wife Maadi who are making a world tour and wish to meet members of kindred organisations. John Einfeld is a respected and highly esteemed member of the NSW Association of Jewish Ex-Servicemen and Women; he has been a President and was appointed a Life Member. “John has a unique record of devoted service to many communal causes but his outstanding interest in Jewish Ex-Service matters has brought him much affection and respect through the Commonwealth of Australia. Mrs Einfeld enjoys similar respect in her own right for outstanding work in leadership of our Ladies’ Auxiliary and for her long and continuous devotion to visiting Jewish Ex-Servicemen in Repatriation and other hospitals.”
