ОписаниеLetter from Marylka Einhorn in Krakov, Poland, to her Aunt and Uncle, dated 20 April 1942. In it, seven year old Marylka thanks them for the chocolate, and updates them about her activities - "I am reading books, write essays, play with Inka." She writes: "I am sorry I have to write with a pencil but I can't yet write with a pen and I'm afraid to stain the paper." There is a postscript from her cousin Ina. Marylka and Ina wrote to their aunt Linka (Lina) Greidinger (the donor) - Felicia Einhorn's sister. The girls were deported on Rosh Hashana 1942 and murdered in Belzec. Marylka aged 7 and Ina age 6 1/2.

I am very worried that you didn't get my 2 letters and a photo. I already thanked you in those letters for the excellent chocolate. I wish you receive this letter. At home everything is all right. We are all in good health. I am studying eagerly. I am reading books, write essays, play with Inka. What are you doing my dear Aunty? How is Uncle and Mr. Stefek? I still remember him well. I am sorry I have to write with a pencil but I can't yet write with a pen and I'm afraid to stain the paper.
