ОписаниеTabloid newspaper "The Fascist". Newspaper published in England by the Imperial Fascist League, “The Organ of Racial Fascism" from January 1938. The publication is a vehemently antisemitic. It provides an example of the British Fascist movement in pre-World War II Britain.
The front page features an article mocking ‘freedom’ in Britain which it concludes as having the freedom to rot. At the bottom is a carton about the Madagascar Plan and how this will end British unemployment. There is also notice on the front containing a strongly antisemitic statement outline the ethos of the paper.
Inside there is the general survey of news from around the world (with a Fascist slant) and the following articles: The Monroe Doctrine, The Chemistry of Progress (how the racially inferior cannot integrate into modern society), The Myths for Goyish Mugs (counters the myths that Jews invented monotheism, that they were forced to live in Ghettos and work as usurers), Trading in Filth (which at the end commends Hitler’s boycott immediately after election for getting rid of this filth) and Psychology…and Jews”.
After the publisher Arnold Leese visited Germany and met Julius Streicher let to the remodelling of his Journal The Fascist along the lines of Der Strumer. His anti-Semitism became firmly racialist in outlook as he came to speak and write of the Aryan race as the creator of civilisation and culture and claimed that the Aryan was in a permanent struggle with the Jew, the outcome of which would determine the future completely.
