Jerzy Andrzejewski wrote "Holy Week" at the time of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising which the author argues investigates the viability of his Catholic orientation during a time of terror, and traces the disintegration of faith in the commonality and dignity of all human beings. Depicts the failure of Catholic Poles to extend love to their doomed Jewish neighbours
