Holocaust amnesia: the Ukrainian diaspora and the genocide of the Jews

Examines the collective memory of the murder of the Jews in the Ukrainian diaspora. The author analyzes an exculpatory narrative in which wartime Ukrainians did not play a role in the persecution and murder of Jews, and shows how this narrative has been deployed for political purposes in post-Soviet Ukraine.
