Who am I? Jewish children's search for identity in post-war Poland, 1945-1949

Michlic illustrates just how problematical the recuperation of memory was in the case of Jewish children hidden during the war. The recovery of such children's memory was stymied by actions of Polish rescuers who were reluctant to part from the children.
