Jaroslav Rind (known as Jerry Rind) was born 12 March 1924 in Sudomerice, Czechoslovakia. He spent one-and-a-half years in forced labour. He was deported to Terezin, where he spent two years, after which he was sent to Auschwitz-Birkenau (tattoo number B-11725), and from there to Gleiwitz and then on a death march to Blechhammer where he was liberated.
