It reviews the major themes in the representation of the Holocaust in Arab public discouse; deals with literature on Zionism, the Jews and the Palestinian Nakba; examines the changes in the writing of the Holocaust since the early 1990s and tackles the question of why there is no Arab historiography of the Holocaust
