Americanization of the Holocaust

States that 'The Diary of Anne Frank' has been and continues to be the most ubiquitous and influential in American rendering of the Holocaust. It has inspired and affected millions of people in America and around the world. However there are critics who say it is responsible for the sentimentalisation and infantilisation of the Holocaust. That criticism is common when talking about any representation of the Holocaust
