Beschrijving

Remembering the Shoah has all too often led to recriminations between Christians and Jews. The former urge the latter to "forgive and forget," while the latter equate the Christians' lack of sympathy with the world's indifference during World War II. War criminals' trials create further dissensions. The concepts of repentance and forgiveness are explored here theologically and biblically, in a quest for greater inter-faith mutual understanding.
