Experimental drama and the Holocaust: the work of the Jewish-German Dance Theatre and its application to the teaching of the Holocaust

This paper proposes the use of experimental drama techniques to teach the Hollocaust, based on the work of the Jewish-German Dance Theatre in Philadelphia. The ensemble created a performance about the effects which the Holocaust had on their relations as Jews and Germans born after the war.The article is divided into three parts: introduction, description of the collaborative work of the Jewish-German Dance Theatre and its possible application to educational contexts.
