Jewish remnants in the Baltic states: reestablishment or Exodus (1944-1946 )

This paper reveals the destiny of the Jew in the Baltic states, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania during and after the Nazi occupation. It places emphasis on the relationship between the Jew and the gentile population during the occupation and then after the war the relationship with the government of the Soviet Union.
