I was there: design for memory

The author in this essay raises three points which are discussed in a book written by the author - the first explores a distinction between autobiographical and collective memory, the second point considers layers of memory, forgetting and triggering the lost memories and the third point considers the issue of asserting that remembered testimony is "true".
