Kalisz: A journey of return.

Depicts a Jewish family's ordeals through two world wars, and their separation as the Holocaust evolves. Rose, the daughter of the story's protagonist, returns to her father's ancestral home in Kalisz, Poland to find it much altered by events. The large Jewish population has been emptied as a result of the Holocaust, but an extraordinary connection is made between two families, and the hidden past of Rose's ancestry is revealed.
