aftermath: a survivor's odyssey through war-torn Europe

The work of remembering which is chronicled in this volume turned into a family affiar. The author's daughter and her husband produced a documentary 'Dark Lullabies" based partly on the story of the author and his wife Lydia whom he searched for and was reunited with after the war. Lydia's story is also included in this manuscript which was originally written in 1947
