Between tumbling walls

An autobiographical work by one of the leaders of the Jewish resistance in Poland, this book describes the incidents of the Warsaw revolt with which he was personally involved. The Uprising is discussed in three stages - the initial resistance in January 1943, the great revolt of April-May 1943 and finally, the participation of the survivors in the Polish insurrection of 1944.
