Transcripts of taped testimony of Holocaust survivors living in the United States, intended primarily for general audiences. The statements are divided into three sections: life before the Holocaust, which reveals the diverse economic, religious, and cultural backgrounds of the survivors; life during the Holocaust and life in America, especially the lasting effects of the Holocaust on both the survivors and their children
