[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]Soldier’s service book issued to Bedrich Albera. It lists his details and his place of enlistment as Great Britain on 25.10.1944. The book is largely unfilled and has been stamped ‘discharged’ by the Czechoslovak liaison officer. At the time of enlistment Fritz was interned in Mauritius. Fritz attempted to enlist in 1942 despite ill health but was not accepted until 1944.
On the way to Great Britain Fritz contracted Jaundice and upon disembarkation was admitted to a military hospital in Scotland. He spent the remainder of the war in England where he met and married his wife Greta. He was demobilised in Palestine where they arrived on 1 July 1946.
