[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]This is a black and white photograph of Loyalty Island Scouts in Wynyard Square during the Bradfield Jamboree in 1939. The Scouts are seated on a kerb wearing their uniforms and appear to be waiting for something to take place. Three elder gentlemen are standing in the distance dressed in suits. An Australasian Scout Jamboree was held at Bradfield Park on an old race course previously known as Cook’s Flat between December 1938 and January 1939. The Jamboree attracted Scouts from all over the world.
