[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]Kurt Rector was born in Gleiwitz, Germany, in 1893. He was a bank officer, but was dismissed from his job in 1933. He then ran a 'Drogerie' (non-pharmacy store). This is a copy of a B&W photograph of "Frigga Drogerie". Kurt Rector left Germany on 5 November 1938, four nights before Kristallnacht, arriving in Sydney on 16 December.
