[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]Black and white photograph of Hans Biebow, the Nazi commander of Lodz Ghetto, during court case in Jerusalem, as identified by the handwritten note on back. Shows Biebow on witness stand with two armed guards behind him.
Note: Several sources indicate that Biebow was tried and executed in Poland in 1947, NOT Jerusalem as stated on the back of the photograph. The investigation was conducted by the Prosecutor of the Regional Court in Lodz. (Information acquired by Anne-Marie Bollier, intern, August 2010)
