[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]Membership card of the NSW Jewish War Memorial (Maccabean Institute). Issued to Miss A Krohn as Honorary Member for 12 months from 30 April 1939. Signed by the General Secretary, S. Altman. Printed on green card. Measures 5.5cm x 9cm. This card is a small symbol of rich cultural Jewish Australian history. The War memorial and the Maccabean Hall were opened on Armistice Day in 1923 by Sir John Monash to honour men and women who served in WW1 and those who lost their lives.
