[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]Brochure for the Jewish Cultural Centre, Museum of Jewish History and the Holocaust (now Sydney Jewish Museum) distributed prior to the opening of the museum. The brochure gives an overview of topic covered by the museum and its role within Australian society. The brochure was developed to raise awareness of the project and to solicit artifacts.
Mr. Alex Weinberger (1921-1994) was a scholar and prominent in the Zionist Federation, in Jewish education and many other communal activities. His wife Marika Weinberger, is currently Vice President of the Sydney Jewish Museum and is also active in Jewish Affairs. Both are Holocaust survivors and came to Australia in 1950.
