[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]“Popular Home-tested Recipes” is a small red covered cook book full of popular recipes, both Jewish traditional and non Jewish. It was compiled in 1948 by the Ladies’ Committee of the Sydenham, Orange Grove and Northwood Branch of the South African Jewish Appeal (SAJA). The book is dedicated to the “Six million Jews who suffered and died at the hands of Hitlerism, and to the living whose spirit and will are unconquerable.”
