[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]Menu from the hospital ship H.M.A.H.S. Wanganella which Hal Finkelstein returned on following his release as a prisoner of war (POW). On the cover is a picture of the ship within a red cross. Hal Finkelstein (WX4637) served in 2/7th Field Ambulance in the Australian Imperial Force during WWII. He was taken Prisoner on 1 June 1941 at Sphakia on the south coast of Crete. He spent the following three years as a POW in German camps until his release in 1944.
