[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]Black and white photograph of Norweigian born Arne Moi, with a pipe in his mouth reading a book. On the back in pencil, Arne has written "Myself!" . The donor has written on the back in blue ink " Arnie Moi, Friend who spent time in the prison camp with Clive Bennett before being transported to Belsen." (Clive Bennett is the donor's brother)
During the war Arne was a radio operator for the Underground, sending messages to England. He became a POW when the three abandoned ships that he and a group of people, men and women, had occupied to sail to England from Stockholm, were ambushed by the German Navy.
