Letter from the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ms Klara Dauermann, 157 Victoria Road, Bellevue Hill, NSW.
Dear Ms. Dauermann,
The chief prosecutor of the district court of Bremen requests, that you stand as witness in the hearing against the former SS-Obersturmfuehrer* Friedrich Hildebrand for murder.
I therefore request you to witness the hearing in the offices of the general consulate. Please bring identification (passport, certificate of registration, naturalisation document etc) with.
If you are unable to observe the stated appointment, then you are requested to please set an appointment for another time by telephone. In the event that you oppose, please inform the Consulate General your reasons in writing.
*Translators note: first lieutenant of the SS.
