Medal commemorates "The Official Opening on 18th November, 1992, by His Excellency Rear Admiral Peter Sinclair AC" the Museum of Australian Jewish History and the Holocaust - now called the Sydney Jewish Museum. A relief image of the building is on the medal. The statue is stored in a red velvet bag.
