[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]Black and white birds-eye photograph of Jews being ushered into the Riga Ghetto, in Latvia. Donor Nelly Illing describes the photo as "on the way to work." The Star of David can be seen on their clothes and many are carrying small bags. They are accompanied by one soldier on a bicycle, seen on the right. This photo was taken by a German soldier in 1943, before the liquidation of Riga in December of that year.
