[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]Sterling silver badge on safety pin with safety chain showing the wings and Imperial (King's) crown insignia of the Royal Australian Air Force. The letters R.A.A.F. appear in silver on a blue background in the middle of the badge and parts of the crown are painted red. The wings are embellished with 11 clear "diamond" stones. This badge belonged to Australian Jewish serviceman Alfred Davis who was a wireless translator and intelligence officer in WWII, primarily serving in the Philippines.
