[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]Silver Yad (pointer), elaborately decorated. Top depicts a hand with index finger pointing (to a passage to read), chain at the bottom end. It was presented to Bankstown Synagogue in 1955 by Max and Miriam Rosen, presented together with a Torah, Torah cover breast plate and bells. The other pieces were passed on to other congregations after the synagogue burnt down in 1991.
