KL Auschwitz was established in June 1940. During the following year almost the entire Polish population living in the left-bank section of Oswiecim, and in a number of villages was expelled. Most of the sub-camps that were engaged in agriculture have been the subject of academic studies. However the history of the sub-camp Wirtschaftshof has remained largely unknown until now. This article describes the sub-camp's operations
