A biography of Lebanon, who taught Hebrew in Sydney and Brisbane. He was born in 1888 in the Old City of Jerusalem, attended the Eitz Haim Yeshiva, and left Palestine in 1911 fleeing from Turkish authorities. He settled in Redfern, Sydney and became a peddler before beginning his teaching career, which this article focusses on.
