[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]
The Brisbane Hebrew Congregation was formed in 1865, shortly after the first record of Jewish settlement in Queensland (1859). The first Rabbi to the Congregation was Joseph E. Myers of Sydney, and most members had also recently moved north from Sydney. These articles detail the Congregation's history from 1865-1965.
