Concludes that in looking at the Third Reich from the perspective of 1980, neither historical myth nor revisionism, but rather a revision taking the historical situation as its point of departure should be the postulate of a scientific approach which tries to free itself from temporally conditioned limitations - and is thus necessarily more encompassing than any mere single discipline or scholarly speciality.
