[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]
The author in this essay addresses three issues in respect to the relationship between the Catholic Church and the Jews - first the visit of Nitra's orthodox rabbi to the episcopal congregation members in spring 1942; the confusion of planned deportations in spring 1943 and a plan to move the remains of the Slovak Jewry to a safer area in spring 1944.
