This article discusses three different books, which although they are completely different have a common theme which is the development of the scholarly field of Holocaust studies. The three books are : "Hannah Arendt in Jerusalem" edited by Steven E. Aschheim; "Rethinking the Holocaust", Yehuda Bauer and "Sources of Holocaust Research" by Raul Hilberg.
