Heimans relates some of the content of an award-winning film of internees' experiences in Theresienstadt in Czechoslovakia that was a stopover on the way to Auschwitz. It includes aspects of an elaborate Nazi exercise of deception for an International Red Cross inspection and propaganda film extolling the 'normality' of life there.
