What we know today that we didn't know fifty years ago: fifty years of Holocaust scholarship

In this article the author compares the period after the end of the war with the period 50years on in relation to what was known of the atrocities that took place during the Nazi regime. Emphasis is placed on the complete lack of organisation and structure of the Jewish community after the War which prevented analysis of of the Holocaust period.
