Conducts an analysis of two Arabic newspapers, the Egyptian al-Ahram and the Palestinian Filistin on their coverage, from 1933 to 1939, with regard to Germany persecution of its Jewish population. The coverage of the events during this period provided a multifaceted perspective to readers. As a result of the analysis, several findings are discussed, including, nuances in the reporting from the two newspapers in terms of choice of issues, emphasis and phrasing of titles.
