The medical experiments investigating the efficiency of sulfonamides in war surgery are an interesting example for describing and analyzing the issues at stake here. These experiments took place in the Dachau, Sachsenhausen and Ravensbruck concentration camps. There is no doubt that these experiments were performed with extreme ruthlessness and brutality. It is also obvious that the legal and ethical conditions were completely ignored. For this reason alone the experiments were inadmissable
